My love is like whoa is what really turned me off TBFH..

And the way they handled "Fallen"
Fallen could've been Grammy award winning.. Could've been so BIG..
They just didn't believe in her.. Which was so odd cuz she had a beautiful voice and could out dance ALL the girls .. Except Janet

Lazarus

Interscope believed in her at first but after awhile didn't know what to do with her. She was the only R&B on the label at the time. She also had creative differences with them as well stemming back from Fear of Flying. By the time Moodring rolled around they stop looking at her as a full package artist just a single artist now.

GLOCK

I'm sorry but everything about that song and video was confusing
It just wasn't a good record!

No

v

she ruined her own chances with her poor choices. There's no reason she fell off the way she did... like how do you go from being all up on MTV to performing in strip clubs?
I heard that the men were trying to take advantage of her sexually and she wouldn't budge
Idk think she had the right type of people to protect her like BAM did

Yea, I heard sis was throwing the box to any nigga who looked her way. I gagged when she was in that video with Game :uhh: just cause he mentioned her. That was a bit low, IMO.

She should've been smarter. Then and now.

I think they believed in her, but she gave them too much pushback
on a lot of decisions going all the way back to Fear of Flying
Well they didn't know how to handle sis..
And thanks for reminding me because they had at least 2 more records they could've pushed off that classic Alber

Her label sucked

That's Why I Wanna Fight was rumored to be the next single

GLOCK

I just wish she had one more chance :'(

Her tone and dancing >>
And she was FINE

I wouldn't be shocked if 50 and Game sabotaged her
she was on their label

Nah she went everywhere with her dad in the beginning of her career but there was friction in her family. Her mother had just gotten over breast cancer, her parents had just gotten divorced and her father was becoming estranged

She just did that as a favor to Dre. She didn't personally care for the song.

As far as her throwing the box you just heard but it never been no concrete evidence behind it. And her father became her manager again in 2005/2006. He was known as the Shut Down King.

QuoteIf you?ve been listening to R&B from new stars Tinashe, FKA twigs, and Jhen? Aiko, you might have heard the echo of a familiar kind of sound: the sultry, futuristic music of that small surge of R&B pop from around the turn of the century?girl groups like Blaque, 3LW, and 702, and the singer M?a. Though they have now mostly faded from the front row of pop culture, these artists are proof of a kind of inevitability of influence, with their sounds now palpable in the music of a whole new generation of musicians who grew up on their hits.

s

her sound wasn't futuristic at all.

I agree with Blaque and 702 tho. They were so edgy.

RAY7

I remember when she premiered "Wo" on 106
and all the men gave a standing ovation
