I am so obsessed with this video. It is definitely up there with Formation. Too soon to tell if this tops Formation for me, but omg this is incredible!
I haven't really read anything about the video except for that twitter thread that was posted in here. Has anyone talked about how Bey and Jay's relationship is the art work that we're getting an up close look at? Like they're the Mona Lisa. Their relationship looked like the most beautiful thing in the world from far away, but now with the up close view you see all the cracks and imperfections. But they're also saying they're a unified force even stronger than ever now like that kintsugi bowl in the sandcastles video in Lemonade.
And of course the whole thing is a clap back to eurocentric standards of beauty and even relationships.
I really think this song has a chance to go #1. It's so catchy and radio friendly.
