Have fun girls  Im back at shoulder length (and a little pass that when straightened) and it only took 2 years. 

And yes I have damaged my hair before dying shit myself. FHJFJKDJJ some years ago

For some girls it takes a century to grow a few inches and then they got shrinkage. 

The hair on my head grows at a rapid speed.

I've always done a couple of highlights here and there but a couple months ago I made the mistake of bleaching my whole head.  Everything was fine until I did my third touch up and got a chemical burn
 




It fell out even more the next day 

I swore that I was gonna just stick to my black hair but I'm getting that itch again.  I really wanna go Letoya Luckett Red.

This is what I'm talking about. You just never know.  I'm sure that MOST of the time it goes perfectly for everyone, but I'm sure there are screw ups as well.

I just like myself natural anyway, so I don't have a want to alter my look enough to test the waters. I think if I wanted it more I'd definitely go for it. Even straightening my hair, etc. Only worth it if you want to do it.

I'm just boring when it comes to that stuff. Very very simple, and I don't like doing things that'll draw too much attention to me. Bright colors, etc. even with my clothes. So it's just part of my personality. I'm extremely reserved in a lot of ways.

But I see why others dive in. It seems fun

Yeah I think your hair type looks best in its natural state cause the black really highlights the sheen and silkiness.  It is fun to switch it up but I learned that if you need to use gloves to apply a product it really has no business going on your scalp lol.  If I do end up coloring again I'll just stick to doing a few random pieces on the ends.  Its not worth permanently messing up your scalp.  And that goes for weaves too!
