Your view is beautifully sweet, though.

I used to wear rose colored glasses a bit myself. Never really understood why people are so upset and riled up about race and color, etc. Kinda saw everyone as one. But that's just not the way the world works.

This world, and this country especially, is just built for pure mess.

I was the same way. My eyes are honestly still being opened to some of the societal conditioning to which we've been exposed since childhood.

Maybe I'm just weary of racial division.

I feel like labeling people under different colors instead of classifying them as ONE but with different shades is just a way to keep us at odds with one another.

Our different shades isn't what keeps us at odds, the way people of a certain shade are treated does that. There's beauty in diversity, but most people choose to look past that to project their own issues on anything different.
