I feel like maybe she was just the fuck TIED. Recording the album and filming Damned at the same time, then making time for promo stops and such, starting filming on Matrix, she had a lot on her plate.

I really hate that because I feel like she was rushed, and it was what ultimately killed her.

And Barry being cheap on the planes.

But they felt she had to strike while the iron was hot after the success of Romeo, put out an album, Timbaland throwing a few tracks on it (which turned out to be a good thing because she worked with new producers), heavy promo immediately.  WNAR lowkey flopping and so they had to rush to capitalize on RTB.   

I just wish she didn?t do Queen because she could have done the Janet collab and tribute performance.

Her entire demeanor was kinda laid back to me.

She wasn't really a "WOO HOO! HEY YALL! BRIGHT COLORS! LOOK AT ME!!!!! OVER HERE GUYS! BOOTYLICIOUS!" kinda gor.

I think that's why she may have come off as unenthusiastic to you - in terms of her attitude towards her music.

But I think she took her craft very seriously. You can see it in her videos and hear it in her music.
