So Joe had release the same some one year prior as a bonus track on My Name is Joe and Case released the same song one year later on Open Letter. Case version just sounds fuller and complete. Also sounds like they kept Joe?s background vocals

It?s just a good song. I like both versions. Joe just has the more pleasant voice and Case is the one we are used to.

Case sang it with way more passion and emotion.  Case SCREAMED "every day I want to pick up the phone!" He snickered after "rear view mirrors playing tricks on me". Joe just singing it like any other ol song. He ain't drive home the point like Case.

Case was a better fit to me. Although Joe could've killed it if he wanted to, but even if he did kill it, I'd still choose Case
