The thing about NYC in comparison to SoFlo is that I feel like I never have to question someone?s intenions or my friendships. It?s pretty CLEAR where people fucking stand. When i lived in SoFlo, I always had to question loyalty and friendships. Miami people are so sometimey and are opportunists. One day they?re your friend, the next they?ll walk right past you like they don?t even know you. They?re so funny acting and fake. It?s draining. I?m still genuinely close friends with like 4 people from undergrad and obviously, none of them are originally from Miami.
