the fact that this went 20 pages because some believe Ke' would've gave Bey comp' in DC and thinking she would've broke through like Bey.

I mean isn't there an excerpt from the same book saying some girl named Tamar outsang Bey Technically, but Bey still managed to SWOOP in and sing lead?

Keke wouldn't have been a guarantee
yep
that Ashley Tamar girl was louder than Bey
and they "shared" leads until they got into the studio
and she couldn't do the fast delivery like Bey
then the producer Tony Mo
took her off the songs, and that's when Bey became the lead
Nothing about Mathew he wasn't the manager at the time either
these ppl LOVE trying to discredit
Did Ashley Tamar say that's how it all went down? :dead:
no, neither did Bey
a neutral party that was interviewed for this biography said it

QuoteLonnie nodded his head as he rocked back and fourth in his chair to the music. "She's good, all right," he observed, not really surprised. after all, he had always had a secret fascination with Beyonce's talent. "Technically, Ashley still had the better instrument," he recalled. "But what she didn't have was Beyonce's execution. We decided right then and there we had to explore her sound. We had no choice.

This was nice

Playing a bit in her head voice

But I dunno...I'm not like...SOLD

Like I just wanna FEEL something raw, unrehearsed, heart felt, impromptu kinda mess

Not seeing which notes will work in a melody

this is what Monica needs to do and find another note besides that long ass one

I am here to mess today!

Sddddd

Bby Mon is trained to GO.

Now she may not have the ear Bey has but Mo has several clips just taking a mic and going. I just wanna see Bey DEW it

:stressed:

As she just perched with her legs crossed and hand on her knee

Okffff

All she needs is vocal training and work on her ear
Coulda shoulda woulda

Bey>>>this dry goat

"A   second   round   of   recording   sessions   in   Sausalito   would

b
eek. i dont remember that

it is implied in here.
A lot, even Keke herself. Believe that being Lightskin and pretty is all it took for Bey to "outshine" the others in DC.
:young:

g

Keke has no starpower or presence. She's just a crazy chick who can sing her face off. I doubt she would've outshined anything.

i agree

she's no ones star

Doesn't really matter what anyone believes
this is straight from the ppl who were there
and who are not in contact with Bey anymore
even LaTavia contributed to the biography
