Guys, who had a worse era, Katy or Nicki?

Katy was far in the lead but the way Nicki has been scambling to out do her has me shacking. I swear I didn't think she'd be crumbling like this

I don't think her debuting at number 2 is eating at her as much as the numbers are. If she debuted at number 2 with over 300K, she would boast proudly how she had the highest 1st week numbers for any female rapper this year. The numbers aren't even bad, they just aren't Cardi's

But keep in mind that Cardi didn't match Nicki's debut album numbers, not even close to them WITH her streaming equivalents and #1 hit included. Over 100k of a difference.

I wasn't expecting Nicki to do more than Cardi's album. Not at this stage in the game for her. If anything I was comparing Cardi's debut to hers.

Yeah. But just as you stated in your thread yesterday, different era. She has a complex, its deeper than matching debut with debuts. She isn't the only one in town anymore and the new girl has accomplished some things she has yet too. The people(Media, Fans, Industry) chiming in and throwing salt in her insecurity wounds isn't helping. Trust me, this is all in her head.
