lauryn is gifted, however lauryn also uses people to an extent. that's why you haven't heard anything musically like miseducation since. all of this was pretty language, some a little arrogant like robert, but ultimately she brushed over some very simple yes or no answers because she knows how it looks to say i "i had someone else tune my guitar", etc... she's an amazing writer. as a producer she has a great mind for it, but at the same time others helped formulate that vision and hence why that lawsuit was settled and those four musicians got theirs on 13 of the 14 songs.

i love her, but she needs to stop. even the various excuses on being late are played out. there are other artists and have been other artists with much bigger productions and execution needs for live shows that are not late like that. a part of her feels a sense of entitlement after one classic record and unfortunately for her many greats that have multiple classics has shown a different sense of grip on things through the years. i love her, but this call out was long overdue. i do hate it came from robert though. he has his own issues when it comes to his views on women in music at times that i do not agree with.
