Just two weeks after Franklin succumbed to the pancreatic cancer, Knight reveals she too suffers from the deadly disease.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the 74-year-old icon.  Though pancreatic cancer was implied by her statement above, as of time reported Knight has not confirmed what type of cancer nor when she first received the diagnosis.  At present, her publicist has denied requests for comment.
