I don't think I'm above anyone, but it comes across that way when you first meet me because I'm very distant. I'll sit in a room with people for hours and not say a word and watch everyone until I feel comfortable enough to speak.

My best friend dragged me to an event she was speaking at. When she went up to the podium and left me alone, I found a corner to sit in and was just zoned out. Her coworkers came up to me asked why I was sitting by myself and I literally gave the exact answer you did
