I wouldn't say she pre-records her vocals. I mean, this was when she first debuted and it's just one song. If it was several songs over the past 4 albums, then I'd say she lips a lot. But lipping whistle notes on The Way when performing it live ain't that big of a deal.

1 thing I have to give Ari credit for though. Her vocals have gotten better with each album. Live and studio.

she definitely did what Bran and Bey do at the VMAs tho. it was a mixed performance in terms of some live and some not but shes better at it now
and that performance made me a fan for life tbh
