People really underestimate how deeply ingrained the obsession with white people's collective opinion on black people is in most black people. It dictates the way we view beauty standards, certain accolades, forms of entertainment etc; And it's definitely not something that can be unlearned overnight.

Either way, niggas need to wake up and realize that modeling yourselves around what other groups think won't speed up the path to equality.

They're getting their money's worth with all the instant re-runs IMO.
Get that ad revenue flowing so they can recoup their expenses. I don't blame them.

It's well deserved . You can tell they gave the movie a very decent budget. Very nicely done.

They did amazing work with the New Edition movie as well.

Way better than those low budget microwave messes that VH1 was throwing out on whatever Black artist was their flavor of the week.
