I think another reason the lines are so blurred here in NYC when it comes to people using the "n" word is because many Latinos are of mixed heritage.

I mean people are on here (and other places) thought Cardi was a Black girl.

I wasn't surprised to see her identify as mixed - not Black.

To say all Latinos and Latinas cannot say the "n" word would be too much of a blanket tea.
Because if you say that, you're saying that Amara La Negra has no right to use the word AND someone like Veronica Vega cannot use it.

They all have varying degrees of mixture. That makes things even trickier.
