Kaeli.

v

They were very popular to the demographic they catered to

Sinpool

This ain't a B5 situation

They just came in the wrong era.

If they were around 2003-2006 or 2013-now they woulda have better chart success.

True. You couldn't tell me "Uh Huh" from B2K wasn't the biggest hit of the year fsfs

I'm always surprised to see where some of my fav songs from a kid actually charted.

I swore How Many Licks was a number one tea. :omf:
d

Yeah B2K only had one legit hit and yeah it was #1 but still.

The Charts aren't always indicative of Popularity.
Amy Winehouse never got a top 10 but her album outsold the world in 2006

Vonc2002

Shoulda woulda coulda :plzstop:
And bringing up B2K is stupid. They have hits and gold and platinum albums smh
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

B2k has other hits on the R&B charts. THAT'S catering to their intended audience. Which also bought their albums, because both albums are certified.  Mindless fags weren't popular  :kii:

I was also surprised to see that Britney wasn't really a #1's girl.

I'm A Slave 4 U only went to #27  :plzstop:

It seems like she only just started getting consistent #1's later in her career.

3, Womanizer, etc.

f

The Brits claim she was blacklisted or some mess because of Pepsi or Coke or something.

Which is wild because it does lowkey seem like all her hits and success after Blackout were pity hits.

Piece of Me slaying the VMAs, The Femme Fatale chart success, ch...

It does seem weird to me.

I loved 3 and Womanizer but bitch I swore Slave 4 U was like her biggest hit.  :plzstop:

How did she start booking #1's so suddenly that late into her career?

They claim radio wouldn't play her mess so she didn't get the chart success she deserved, but then she had that breakdown and everybody felt sorry for her so they let up on her.

If it's true perfect example of people trying to break you down when you're on top, but all of a sudden wanting to play Charitable when you're down so they can say they helped you.

Vonc2002

Not slave 4 u being britney's hit :dead:
That just means u didn't know wtf u were talking about because that song wasn't even HUGE when it was out, ESPECIALLY compared to a song like baby one more time
