That happens to me A LOT. I would catch myself two minutes later and wonder what the fuck happened. Thankfully that only happen on longer drives, and those highways are mostly deserted. Otherwise I'd probably already be behind bars for vehicle manslaughter.

If I'm on the road for a good minute I eventually zone out and by the time I get to my destination I don't even remember how I got there in one piece

My mind can be somewhere else and yet my body can be completely in sync with what I need to be doing on the road : changing lanes , stopping, going etc
