Usher is more signature visually with his dancing, and looks
and also being candid in his lyrics about his relationships
marrying Tameka and wilding out on TRL was really the issue
:kii:
Ray, everyone man (In America) dressed that like back then, you think Usher created fashion moments?
Styles?
:dead: :dead: :dead:
Men RARELY create fashion moments
and every R&B singer was "candid" about their personal life in their lyrics.

There would be no We Belong Together, Be Without You etc if Usher didn?t make the sound popular
and Chris, Omarion, NE-YO, Trey, Jason Derulo etc would be singing Heal The World type stuff and dressing like Smooth Criminal If Usher didn?t come through in the 90s and 2000s and mix the MJ performance style with sex appeal
:kii:
when u have no rebuttal

Usher was never relevant musically, never set trends, or broke ground with his music.
& he's hitting 40, I'm not expecting anything amazing
Ok I meant to say he was never sonically relevant
Like if Confessions never came out you think the musical landscape would be so different?

Read what you wrote hun'
I don't need a rebuttal

Young

usher does need to carve out a SIGNATURE sound.

He's been so versatile that its been hard for listeners to really LATCH onto some mess.

That's his only issue

FlowerBomb

Like no one ever says oh this sounds like an Usher song! he copied Usher's dancing and style!
He's successful but unremarkable, he doesn't stand out

Kalifornia.

And didn't Usher shade Dance music at one point?

I can't remember what he said exactly.

he made certain styles popular and trendy. That?s what happens when you?re a popular sex symbol :dead:
and not everyone is always candid about their own relationships
Who else had their real girlfriend in all their videos when they were together? Then even after they broke up? And both albums were all about the relationships

I haven't
They're men, they all dance like the other, there's not a wide list of options for Male R&B singers to dance differently. :dead:

Mrd0ndada

If Bey & Hov can hop on a Migos written record then why can?t uncle Usher young thug it up for 8 tracks?
🙄
