I am sure you don't need 17k for a funeral. And better buy a solid long term car than waste it on some luxurious funeral.

If her intent was to purchase a car she should've said so before accepting funds. It's just not ethical to base your entire donation campaign off of a claim that you're using it for funeral funds, and then purchase a car. But in all fairness, she did EXCEED the goal by 8K. The average funeral is 7-10K. But is GoFundMoney not taxed or something? Cuz with the taxes she definitely wouldn't have been left with a full 8K. Nowhere near it for such a large sum of money at once...
