Why are most blacks afraid of those that are "corny?"

Why is this such a precedent in the black community, where if you're labeled as "corny," you're not taken seriously? And then slum slaves who've been in shootouts and other ghetto activity get more respect?

Are we doomed? Let's discuss

Is this secretly about Ci becoming Whitewashed and corny a bit

ddddd ok this makes sense now

BTW no one has respected Ci even since B.I when she got outsold 1st week by Keri twice in a row

This has nothing to do with Ci. This is something that I saw happening constantly, especially while going to a predominantly black school, which, thank God, I never have to do again

this is more about the thought process of blacks who compute anything outside of hood behavior as corny or lame.

It's a topic closely related to hyper-masculinity, but not one that is brought up enough

Intelligence is such a turn on for me.
Like huge turn on.

Strong sense of responsibility and leadership.

Ambition.

Key things I look for in a man - aside from the initial physical attraction.
I'm very careful of who I associate myself with. Too much going on right now for me to be playing stupid games.
since Ciara was brought up, this reminds me of thousands of niggas that tried to discredit Russell for being a "corny" and believed Future was a better fit for Ci because he's not corny, a real recognizes real type a nigga :dead:

Are blacks poisoning themselves? Are we our own toxin?

I definitely know what you mean, Talisa. I grew up around it. Thankfully, I didn't turn out like any of those toxic turds.
because it is toxicity in the end

I see so many black people putting on thicker, southern accents that are so obviously false. The challenge to not come off as corny is running rampant in the black community. Why don't we encourage each other to be ourselves more?

GLOCK

Yeah this is about ci
Tal is pissed.. that video did a number

Scott.

Eh

I mean, a so called ?hood person? could be considered corny tbh

FAMÈ

Every thing you said is so true. You have to be retarded not to get this.
