My hope is that I would have taught them to respect authority. So the parents can be called to the carpet as well.
A child shouldn't feel that comfortable confronting an adult.

But it is still a CHILD. There is NO excuse for an adult to lay their hands on a child unless it is a desperate attempt to defend himself.

I?ve had plenty of beef with teachers. Ongoing beefs etc.

And the bottom line is once he told him to leave and he didn?t, he should?ve gotten school security. It was unprofessional to stand there and even entertain the mess to the point where it comes to a boiling.

Dude would?ve been indefinitely suspended from the class and the problem solved.
