I remember there was a time where I felt these sentiments..
ignorant and not 100% in love with myself because of my sexuality ..
After further research.. and the realization that who I am (all of me) is beautiful I began to see the world from a larger perspective and change my stance on the plight of homosexuality
I have never ever thought that it was a choice but I did believe ur skin color stands in front of that.. not so much now
I?m also wise enough to know that one doesn?t cancel out the other..
I think her comments were ignorant and propelled by this new social media activist wave that everyone is on..
You can be black.. deal with discrimination and still somehow empathize and sympathize with those that might not look like u or love like u do.

It?s sad that she isn?t here to learn more... to experience more and to think BIGGER.

Hiding ur sexuality shouldn?t even be something that ppl run to or mention when discussing things. Folks should be able to love out loud.. black, guacamole or white..
And blacks should be treated as well ass any other race.
