Nah. Brandy needs to get back to that progressive R&B sound that she had on Afrodisiac. Actually she started the trend with Mike City. That?s who she needs to go back to and create with. He gets her and her ear.

I agree with the progressive R&B sound but Idk about Mike City(One of my favorite producers in. the 2000s).He did a few songs on Faith's last solo album that were awful.

He?s better with artists like Brandy. Faith isn?t that type of artist.

The problem with Brandy is that she?s an artist people can?t really put a distinct label on, imo. People wanna box her in, making what?s considered ?good music? from her arbitrary.

Progressive folks want Full Moon 2.0
And the casuals want moody rawness ? la Afrosisiac.

The diehards just want anything at this point. I?m all for her exploring all ideas and possibilities.
