The further I move South I realized I have to learn that shit

A few years ago I went to Miami to some Cuban restaurant and the god damn waiter didn't know English. I had to point to what I wanted. So I've been slowly learning words

For sure. Speaking another language puts you ahead of your competitors and makes you more marketable, even if you don?t necessarily use it at your job. Employers see it as a bonus point for hiring you. I?m teaching my kids Spanish from an early age along with English.

No shade but you?re not a viable contribution to society either way so it doesn?t really make a difference.

Knowing two languages, especially Spanish, is so vital.
I wish I knew Spanish.

I'm focusing on sign language, though -- starting next year.
