It has been proven that Janet has performed better on the charts than Michael did. They both have sold a TON of records but Janet has LINGERED on the charts longer. It makes sense. After Michael's personal life became public, those charts weren't performing like they did with "Thriller" and "Bad". Janet had 4 major eras CONSECUTIVELY: "Control", "RN", "Janet" and "VR". These aren't based on personal preference...

Tran only performed better from certain angles with singles by a my. But albums, the stuff that actually matters, is no comparison.
