It was a huge discussion and a lot of folks showed apathy toward it, saying that he should still host the Oscars. That instance proved how the torment gay men face doesn't matter. That doesn't mean the tweet was a direct cause for what happened to Jussie. But if ppl can brush off harmful behaviors we've seen from Kevin and other black men, why wouldn't that empower whites to go out and attack the gorls?

That combined with the lasting trauma that will probably have him constantly looking over his shoulder every time he steps out the house can be crippling.
