I've been saying this for a long time. Girl, you're working in the entertainment industry.

It's one industry in America that is openly allowed to discriminate based on everything from race, to age, to disability, to gender, level of fitness, am mean. ...did I leave anything out?

And this is a White country. You're not fighting for basic rights such as the ability to get a job to feed yourself and your family.

I think this is what Steve is trying to get at when he says "rich people problems", and "we're in the MONEY game." I think he's trying to say girl...this is the entertainment industry in a predominately White ass country.

It only makes sense that White actors and actresses are shown favor in entertainment because there are more White people in this country to put up money to see them in movies, or shows, or music, or whatever.

These production companies and networks are catching on to the demand for more Black content and are definitely feeding the need as well with teas like Black Panther, Blackish, Empire, Scandal, etc. Trust - if they see opportunity for coins they won't care if the "in" color is blue, green, yellow, black, or whatever.

This is why I have SO much respect for Tyler Perry. Black actors always had a place to go for a coin before this wave suddenly caught on and other opportunities began opening for them.

This is true. No matter what no one says if these white people in charge see room to make a coin. They are their for it. Same goes for the music industry with black female singers, people think they aren't getting just treatment and they're not. But, most of them is not willing to invest when the community isn't here for them as much as their rap male counterparts.
