I think some of you are missing the point and the casting..

she's taking on the role that Diana Ross made famous.
Diana is no one's AMAZING singer, so why would they cast someone that gives Jennifer Hudson?
her voice is perfect for the role she's playing....

No its not  i get it not  deep soul singer and whatnot

But her voice is just annoying and doesnt jive well

Coulda got a better voice
