I was having this conversation with my best friend the other day. He's Arab.

He said he would take it in a heartbeat because of all the pressure from his family to get married to a woman.

He lives here in the US, but they are back in Saudi Arabia. They are constantly on him. To the point where he's so stressed & nervous to go back home to visit because he doesn't know if they're gonna force him into a marriage while he's there.

I feel so bad for him. He's always stressed out and having headaches.

One of our friends suggested that, but he's very close to his mother. She's his everything. He's also very traditional in the sense of respecting & honoring his family. I don't think he could ever do that.

It's so sad because he's literally in a place where he has to choose between living his life for himself or losing his family forever.

He supports himself, but they do help him occasionally.
