Remember when Beyonce STOLE Amerie's sound, sabotaged her career, gave her a nose job, and convinced Columbia to release Touch as the second single thereby ruining Amerie's breakout era?

Cause I do.

It was tough between Amerie and Mya. Amerie just needed more growth. She didn't take it up another level after one thing. Love her first album as well.

i think you mean Keyshia Cole

Rih and Bey were FARRRRR out of her league.

Yeah because those were the only 2 songs. Like  :dead:

I'll give her credit for Slow Dance, that was a cute lil hit that people enjoyed. And rt hen she followed up with Pretty Girl rock and that was it.

I remember clearly when the kerikrew was coming at the Ci's becuas3 they felt she was a hotter commodity than Ciara at that time(She Was.),That she was going to replace her. She was featured on countless people songs back to back to back and they were barely moving a needle.  :dead:
She was on songs with
Nas
R. KELLY
Fabulous
Plies
Chris Brown
T.i.
Etc... and was barely making noise for the "IT" girl

I can say though I think Amerie had what it takes, Keri is my favorite of the bunch musically. She can write and sing her ass off. But I just never saw longevity for her. Every hit she had was a surprise to me, frankly just because great music isn't all that it takes in that business.
