Yeah my guess was a good heaping of Asian blood.

Wow, your biggest African hit is Nigeria. That's amazing actually.
And Benin/Togo is the second.....usually Caribbean people have these as top hits....
interesting

I know you feel as if you already know this information

but I already knew my family history as well. It was just a little trickier for my mother's side because I knew there was Native ancestry, but I am a descendant of a tribe which is highly admixed (Lumbee)  -- meaning there are large amounts of black and European thrown into its makeup....due to their relationships with slaves. so I can't just "look at pictures" and draw conclusions.  "ooh! black but those cheekbones! that hair and skin! definitely Native!"...that's ignorant.

And it annoys me when people run around claiming to be things they are not. I did not want to be one of them, which is why I took the test. But I ended up finding so much more about my African ancestry than I thought I would. As blacks, we assume there's NOTHING to be learned. We came here as slaves! The end! But there's more and more for us these days. I strongly advise you to look up these African countries, learn about the culture. I'm sure the people who came before us such as great grandparents, etc. WISH they had access to this information. Just a CONNECTION of some sort to the motherland.

I know right now it seems like you're looking at a bunch of countries that are foreign to you, but take some time to connect. Also, connect with your rich Asian heritage as well, if you haven't done so already. This is all a part of you. <3 And it's just the beginning. Take the results for what they are, but don't let this be the end of the reclamation of your heritage.

We're all simply a sum of those who came before us.
