He's a good actor I feel.

He acts like alot of young black men act
so it's nice to have representation for them

That's not really a positive thing in a lot of cases, but MESS

That means he's capturing the ESSENCE of the character.

Not everybody acts old and STOIC.

His acting works because it's how someone like him would act in certain situations.

Sinpool

Michael is embracing the essence of HIMSELF and bringing it to his character.

Michael is giving a voice to young black men out there whom act like him.

He IS the voice of this generation

He had one real moment that I felt

"This is supposed to be your king! He's supposed to protect you!" The conviction, the angst in his physicality :gorlonfire:

everything else was a chop

Moon

horrible movie and disgusting actor/acting

but therapy!

Eh, that's interesting because none of this translated on film. He literally was the worst actor on set and he almost ruined the damn movie tryna give whatever it is he that he thought he was giving.

Eh I think his character was hard to accept in contrast to the theme of the movie which was African excellence and kingdoms and he was a ghetto hood boi without understanding and anger that he wasnt apart of it when he discovered who he was and the question of which identity to take on the excellence vs the forgotten

and his character represented the fallout from that and slavery and coming away from that divinity and kingship

and not mentally being aligned with it once he has been returned to it

i think he did a great job bringing that across on screen

his character was too much in opposition to be liked in truth so i feel there is bias
