QuoteRoughly half a million people worldwide take the medication, which is more than 99 per cent effective in preventing HIV when taken correctly.

There you go. It's not 100%. Too bad so sad.

7 out of 500000 is not a bad odds

As long as you take it correctly and still Protect yourself with condoms you should be good.

QuoteDarren Russell, clinical adviser for Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine - which authored Australia's PrEP clinical guidelines - said a growing body of evidence supported taking PrEP on demand (a dosing strategy involving taking PrEP pills in line with a carefully-timed schedule before and after sex).

"Taking PrEP only around the time of sexual events allows for fewer tablets to be taken overall, resulting in less exposure to medication, potentially fewer side-effects, and lower costs," Dr Russell said.

The gorls love to be edgy. Just take the shit correctly. Like, damn.

Now that doctor needs to be sued and have his license revoked.

Why would you tell a patient to change the way the medicine is supposed to be taken.

It takes roughly 7 days to take effect.

The doctor is in the wrong here

Oh, but they're talking specifically about PrEP injections. Not the pills. That's some new shit that's supposed to be more effective.

Why is this fag smiling? As if this is something to be proud of?

:dead:

The way gays treat hiv like the common cold now  :omf:

This is not true at all. A friend of mine recently tested positive and was so devastated he ingested poison. Thankfully he was found in time. He wasn't even promiscuous. He just thought death was a better option than his parents finding out. Turns out his parents took it better than he did.

Ok.
