You girls.

These businesses have an image to uphold.

What you mean Daquan can't wear braids and  du rag to work?!

This also applies to white people girls

You know how many Ambers I've turned away because sis thought she would get a job with Purple hair?

Or Jake who thought he could get a position with a Mohawk?

Anyway....

There's nothing wrong with these hairstyles
It's an amusement park right? :dead:
As long as it's clean, tidy and neat and doesn't get in the way then what's the problem? :uhm:
Becky can turn up with her long blonde locs she hasn't washed in weeks and smells like wet dog but Tyrone and his freshly washed, oiled, and trimmed locs can't?
Please.

ok sure the dreads whatever but the SECOND person with the ponytail? that is EXTREMELY groomed and tidy

Are you serious?
Its hair slicked back with oil and grease into a damn rubber band left to hang :dead:
It's no cleaner or neater than the dreads that actually LOOK like they've had some effort put in :uhh:

GRAND ETERNAL SUPREME

I think it's more about a gender thing than race.

They don't seem to be comfortable with hiring males who have longer hair based on the clip I saw in the news.

This tweet tells part of the story, but the guy with the ponytail said that there are females who were hired and working there with similar hairstyles.
gender bias is honestly just as trash. They need to get it together

Long hair is long hair and nothing is impeding their success over there, working such a basic job.

Publicity stunt
It seems like every week another company does something racist to get attention
and we always fall for it
No way should an amusement park care about the hairstyle of the workers in the park
All they have to do is press go on the rides no one is even looking at them longer than like 5 seconds at a time

eh, well

Parks like young white girls as their face
And blacks behind the counter and running their rides

It's a mess

I worked at one when I was a kid and it's a horrible experience

They really think you're supposed to take anything
