I took out a $25k LOAN to help my brother's business. He promised me that he had a lot of money coming in from his business and that he would pay it all back in two months.

He did not pay me back a cent even though when could and treated me like dirt on top of that. Our relationship has never been the same. I was so bitter paying back that loan in $800 monthly installments over three years. That could have gone towards a deposit for an apartment.

I'm still salty about it. I only finished paying off the loan a year ago.
