The reason why people undergo the surgery is to be treated, seen as, and have the feeling of being what they identify as on the inside.

Exactly, it's physical attraction. That's like a man saying they're not attracted to women with flat chests. They have a right to like/love who they'd like.

being gay is not about the action alone, but about the EMOTION of attraction and what constitutes. that is not something that is chosen. merely having a mental/physical attraction to the same sex makes you "gay"

that is different from the feeling of wishing you had been born or want to become the opposite sex, which are essentially feelings of desire. and identify more with the opposite sex id just that... IDENTIFYING. it does not mean that you ARE. and no one is saying that identidying is a choice. but the act of transforming is.
