I'm so happy for my fav!!!! It'll be interesting to see who's chosen to perform. It's sooooooooooo difficult to perform a MJB song because the key ingredients are soul, grit, and passion all mixed with authenticity. There's a reason why this woman is still around AND very much relevant today...there has never been and will never be another artist with that recipe and staying power. Before Mary all we had were the likes of the polished artists such as Whitney and Mariah. Mary created a lane for sooooooooooooooooooooo many of your favs that followed. It's freaking amazing how influential she has been and the priceless catalog of classics.
