This thread makes me think about a tweet I seen last week

What do you guys think? Me and FAME talked a bit about it and he had some interesting points, but overall I feel like most of her influence can be traced back to janet or aaliyah.

Can one be a legend w/o influence? :unbothered:
I was gonna talk about this too and I agree with ur viewpoint. Pattti may not have multiple multiplatinum records but her influence is felt. THATS what makes a legend. Aint nobody out here inspired by ciara. Aint nobody on the shows performing ciara records and shit. Ciara wasn't impactful. Shitty sales to the side, that's why she'll never be a legend
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

If this was 2004 then we could possibly discuss her having an impact but even still I'm scratching my head 😭Ciara is the embodiment of nice gowns beautiful gowns

Level Up came out and solidified her as the Dance Queen. the way these elementary schools would let the kids play this out like it was 1, 2 Step back when we were in grade school says enough

Why does Ci trigger ghetto black faggots and rotten niggresses so deeply? I think that'd be a cute discussion

U really are stupid :dead:
So people going around covering patti's songs, remaking her music, sampling isn't influence?

I'd say Fantasia and Christina Aguilera.
