I feel bad for gays who still believe in God and attend church , etc.

It has to be hard when certain sermons pop up. Wonder if they just walk out or pop in their headphones and listen to Beyonce or something

You don't have to feel bad. I attend church periodically and actually enjoy it.

It does have a nice atmosphere and the services are usually pleasant.

How do you handle "those" sermons though? Do they ever pop up occasionally?

Well I go to a "white" church so the preaching style isn't like that. Also, my Pastor is out and Gay so that helps

They really are dumb and think we're all the same.

What really surprises me is the blatant homophobia they display in the workplace. I've been placed in so many uncomfortable situations because of their one dimensional views on how gay men look/behave.

This boy I work with came to me recently and said something along the lines of "they've been hiring alot of fags lately"

And I'm looking at this faggot like....

I must've called him every name in the book dhjjfff. But yh I had to let him that I was a "fag" and don't ever talk to me again.

I get that there's privileges to being masculine but it really sucks when people assume you're straight and then start blatantly disrespecting you in your face with their homphobia.
