A large part of being "cultured" is understanding and adapting as I do when I visit muslims countries. You should move to a community/city/country where your views are widely shared, or just STAND the entire trip. As a person who live in and have adapted in a culture different than yours, you should understand the the local "culture" will find it offensive when you move when someone sits next to you.
