People take those decisions very personally (which is understandable), but ultimately this was a show that was marketed towards young girls. That's clear as day when you look at the product placements in the show and ads that were played during its airing (CoverGirl, etc.).

Those girls look up to the winners - and that type of tea floating around regarding porn/prostitution or escorting could possibly "send the wrong message". She should have disclosed the mess upfront instead of tucking it away in hopes that no one would find out.

It sucks but it's business.

There's a reason why GHan hid her wedlock baby tea and lied about being married. Yeah it was a kii that she got caught in the mess but she was trying to protect her brand. Moms around the country may not be too happy about knowing their daughter is idolizing a former escort or someone who's fucking raw in studios without a wedding ring mess.

her point could've been way more effective had she used it solely as a way to highlight the issue in fashion that only allows one top black girl in the industry.. 

but she had to make herself a victim..
