I do believe her being a Black woman in her position was more than enough reason for someone to blow the whistle on her.

But once that whistle was blown, they had no choice but to prosecute her.

She did something against what's allowed by the system. Someone in her position should not be able to get away with it. The system is already corrupt in so many places as it is, don't need any special treatment elsewhere.
