Lol Atlanta is safe.  I mean, you do have to protect yourself from stds (I used to work at an urgent care and people where always coming in because they caught something), but that's true anywhere. 

Just avoid Lake Lanier. Also, wherever your job is make sure you live near that side of town. And try to stay in your quadrant if the city / surrounding city area as much as possible. There's usually enough going on that you don't have to venture out of your quadrant area too much. It's just less stressful than having to travel for hours at a time to get to the other side of the city.  Avoid the traffic.
