This is really sad, but I wonder why the lady didn't try to do anything. She sat there crying, and complaining like a child. I hate to criticize a dead woman, but she just wanted to be rescued, she was not trying to save herself.

It is sad that the operator spent 21 minutes asking for her location, then finally saying that she could ping the location. Neither one of them were thinking clearly, and it is more understandable for the lady in the car. She had a brand new phone, she could have sent anyone her location in SECONDS. They spent 21 minutes describing locations and guessing
