sssssdddd that's a good point. I'm screaming. "Wow yea they were wrong but didn't wanna say lmao!!"

ssdcvvv but not too fucking much! I still don't think it's cuz it flopped. she's had one minor flop since and may have another in this current climate. no shade

Bran's HEALTH comes first. I hope she'll eventually be in a space like when she was on Broadway.
She was so electric during that time & now she's giving a different tea.

It's strange & I worry, but she'll get to happy. The music will come when it comes.

Young

I just feel like she waits so long and changes her mind so much when in reality the recordings could have been two completely different projects and sounds

Smh

Sovereign.

And I actually buy the 'perfectionist' thing. She's literally a painter at work.

I'm not buying her "perfectionist" comment - I mean I believe her so i'm not saying she's lying. But i think whatever the "obstacle" she referenced - either personal or professional is deeper than about being a "perfectionist". Quiet as its kept, I when she mentioned "obstacles" she wasn't expecting the interviewer to dig deeper and when he did, she's like "ohhhhh perfectionist blah blah blah" real quick to shut him up.

As someone else said, I hope Brandy is OK. Her energy isn't bad, but it's definitely shifted a bit since Chicago ended.

The thing is the Human era has a lot to do with this ...
But u see what really bothers me.. When she and other fans blame others for the human album

No one put a gun to her head and made her do that mess
And a lot of fans LOVE that album (not me of course)
So it's a bad look to see her back pedal on projects because they weren't  well received..
Because TBH she should feel how she feels about Human towards "put it down"
Sis is wishy washy.. All of the place.. Like Aquarians are..
It's kinda as simple as that

She did have a voice during the human album..
That's the direction SHE wanted to go following the accident..
Like stop..
Don't blame that Alber on nobody but Brandy..
And it's not a bad album..
Don't know why she acts like it never happened..

Bran just needs to be lead.. PERIOD.
when I say she didn't have a voice, I'm saying SHE didn't use it. And yes that's on her. And no you don't know the reason why she doesn't use human :dead: did Twoeleven sell three million or something? She doesn't trash that album does she? Lol no.  So maaaaybe just maaaaybe that isn't the reason

She does blame herself for that Hun

!!

FINE.

I've never seen it for the Human shade, not even when it came from Bran's mouth, because that was the album that made me really appreciate her as an artist, and want to listen to her other albums. The music wasn't the problem that era.

THIS!!!!!! I believe she is going thru other obstacles besides being a "perfectionist"... it could be personal, label issues, issues with the producer. And I also noticed brandy deleted her pics on instagram she took with the lady who'son Zoe Ever After with her, Haneefah Wood (she plays Pearl on the show).. so I hope everything is alright with that relationship. I do believe its other things going on.

I just wanted her to acknowledge the fact that she promised it would be out by a certain time and the fact that the fans are upset. I'm content with it at this point.

At the end of the day, she deserves happiness more than anything. Are there things I wish she'd do more or less? Yes. But her happiness is more important than a few new songs. I'll wait on her "divine timing." Good luck, Brandy. Put out what you believe in. We, the fans, will either like it or we won't; we always complain anyway lol. Just be true to Brandy.

This interview gave me some comfort. I totally get that she wants the album to be perfect, I do too. But I still don't think it should take all of this to put out an EP.

GYNandTONIC

Idk

As a artist myself I understand. You guys are like "oh just throw it out, we dont care if its reflective of you".

I could never imagine throwing out paintings that look good but Im not 1000% in love with just to satisfy somebody elses wants. ESPECIALLY if Ive been down that road before.

Some people take their art very seriously and Im happy I stan for one of those people! Brandy knows at this point every album she drops could be her last and its important that those studio releases are things shell love for a lifetime.
