My advice to anyone is when you're feeling depressed get your blood checked. Not every thought is what you really think. Since I stopped my 'spiritual journey' (looking for answers from a spirit/God and buying self help books plus a shit load of crystals to fix my mind) and really asked the doctor to check the facts it turned out I had a big vitamin deficiency. It is a personal lesson to stay down to earth and ask for help sooner. (It is a long story..I'm not asking anyone to abandon their faith like I did..I'm just saying science is so important. The vegetarian diet that I started crashed my body.) The right nutrition, vitamins and minerals will help increase serotonin in your brain. It helped me realize being depressed is not my personality, it is my body on low energy.
