Joaquin went IN with the acting. The mannerisms, the laughing etc he really BECAME Arthur Fleck
Hes definitely getting an Oscar nod

He actually developed health issues because of it, better win something. He broke the October box office opening record.

I'll also say, it made you empathize with him, which is fascinating because Joker is the most infamous Batman villain.

Agreed. Joaquin's nuances were otherworldly. Heath's acting isn't even in the same league.

its kind of a lopsided comparison because Heath was a supporting character in a Batman movie
he did a lot for sharing screen-time with Christian, and even the actor who played Harvey Dent/Two-Face
