I wouldn't be surprised if it was all a dream and they rewind back to when Angela got shot and her life was saved and it changed the timeline of events.

I think the whole "Who Shot Ghost" campaign is bullshit and cheesy. Whoever wrote this episode outside of the detective mess was lazy.
