It is obvious Kandi helped her with this but it is good she will get a chance to prove herself and to be around people who know how to talk.  Maybe if she is away from her mom she might learn to be more independent. It is just strange how Kandi and Ace are the only ones talking in that family. Todd's daughter seems intelligent tho, I'm sure she could be a lawyer if she wanted to.

Yes I just watched a video of her 'first week' in New York and I'm glad that she is talking more. She did have some weird theory about the subway being hot because people are walking outside in the sun and then they are getting hot from walking, I don't know if she always thinks things through but I am happy she is experiencing life in a bigger city. She has a different energy when she is not around her family. I think she is just used to people doing things or her. Kandi has the same voice and way of talking..sometimes a bit low and not energetic. And she needs to work on the accent and her words, but I bet a lot of teens talk that way before they enter college.

She was sheltered I think being on tv has helped her

One of the scariest moment's for me was when I got my first graduate assistant position and had to teach a auditorium of about 300 students. It took me a while to master that bc I had never taught students my age or older.
