Brandy comes from an era where no matter what you put out, you have good sales. And with the huge increase of artists that also have our attention, she gives up on stuff too quick.

She should've worked 2/11 more, kept the same female dancers, went on a tour, etc. I get RCA being on that bs, but Do You Know would've got her a #1 on R&B.
!!!
She still operates like it's the 90s. When labels basically did everything.

You have artists with significantly less coin & resources investing in their own eras. Tours, videos, pushing singles, etc. There's no reason she couldn't do it either, but we just have to realize that she's not that girl.

2/11 wasn't on her,  I believe.  I think that record company probably wanted to stop before she did
I remember someone in PMs saying that her contract literally had two singles in it. They weren't willing to do shit else, no matter what sssss whew

She killed, I know Whit was proud, and the Carters, Wests, Nicki etc were STANNING
Im SO glad she decided to do this. And people got to remember Whitney's fun side
yea, I wish they would've kept How Will I Know in there too
Doing the fun fast songs was probably the only way to keep her for crying

Oh wow. That makes sense... only thing I wish she would've did was took the chance of funding a video for DYK and using her name/resources to promote it... it would've benefited her and proved her power to the label in the long run

Purple Moon

Must be a purple moon, feel like one of those nights...

Harlem

Damn re-watching this got me feeling all proud and disappointed at the same time. This was a huge moment for her, I feel like it was like the rebirth of Brandy on a major platform after going through some lows and she killed it. Busta Rhymes expression in the video was priceless, he was shocked and impressed at the same time like "ok, I see you"

Yo I really want this girl back! Her hunger, image, stage presence was on a trillion during this era... I wanna shake her now to be like wake the fuck up! smh
